Michael J. Collins, President
Mike Collins brings a unique combination of experiences to BioNovix, Inc. He has served as a senior executive with 2 world class Fortune 500 marketers; he has been a senior executive with two of the largest direct selling companies in the world; and he has served as the chief Franchise executive for two of the largest franchise companies in the world. During his 12 year career with Pepsi Cola Company, Mike served as a Division Vice President and then as Vice President of Franchise for Taco Bell, then a PepsiCo subsidiary. During his tenure as the Senior Vice President of Shaklee US, the company halted a multi-year decline and became one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. Mike moved on to head up Marriott International’s limited service Franchise effort for both Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inns. He then accepted the position of Vice-president and Chief Operating Officer for Excel Telecommunications, a $1.3b direct selling company, leading all departments in Sales and Marketing. During his tenure, Mike led the re-launch of the direct sales business, including the launch of Excel Wireless. Most recently Mike served as President of LifeWave, LLC, a young MLM company. Mike has numerous professional relationships in the Franchise and Direct Sales fields, and enjoys widespread respect in both. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has strong ties with several of the leading industry and sales associations.
Eric H. Kuhrts, Chairman of the Board and Chief Science Officer
Eric is the founder and CEO of five pharmaceutical companies, and is the inventor of over 30 issued and pending patent applications. He has been involved in numerous aspects of management and research related to pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and consumer products for over 18 years. One of his inventions, the Bios® Life2 generated over $180 million dollars in annual revenues (close to $2 billion in sales over a 10 year period) for the Rexall Sundown company’s Rexall Showcase International network marketing division, and paid millions in royalties before being sold for a substantial projected royalty stream. Eric has developed and licensed novel proprietary diagnostic biomarkers, major sports supplement products, numerous over-the counter (OTC) drug products, drug delivery systems, and many new biopharmaceutical formulations in the cardiovascular, and anti-inflammatory area. Eric also has extensive experience in the development of new drugs that require FDA approval via new drug application (IND/NDA) submissions. Eric is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego.
Fred Auzenne, CEO
Fred is currently serving as CEO of Sedona Labs, Inc. Fred spent seven years in U.S. Army Intelligence followed by a successful 15-year career in sales and marketing within the casino, pharmaceutical (Merck) and medical device (Medtronic) industries. At Sedona Labs, Fred boosted sales nearly 90% in less than 6 months. He also initiated a successful reorganization and restructuring to improve IT systems, shipping, manufacturing, communications and purchasing. He guided the company through the launch of three new products that are positioned to achieve multi-million dollar sales growth through premier retailers such as Wild Oats, Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Fred holds an MBA from University of Nevada, Reno.
Roger Hill, Vice President, U.S.Sales
Roger brings demonstrated accomplishments in strategic sales and marketing productivity to BioNovix. He joins the company from Global Health Trax, a leading nutraceutical manufacturing and wholesale distributor of proprietary health and wellness products where he developed and expanded an independent distributor base of 10,000 in the U.S. and Japan. Previously, he was responsible for $52 million in network marketing revenue as Director of Sales at Acceris Communications. Roger has a bachelors degree in business administration and accounting from California State University San Marcos.
Dave Holker, Vice President, International Sales
Dave brings a wealth of Network Marketing experience to BioNovix. He has been involved within the Network Marketing industry for over 30 years. In the field, he has built large and successful distributor organizations. On the corporate side, a partial list of who he has consulted to and/or worked in administrative positions with includes: Forever Living Products, Nature Sunshine Products, 21st Century Nutraceuticals, Sunrider, Healing America, Body Extreme, and Ztel Communications. Just prior to joining the BioNovix team, he was Vice President of Sales/Marketing with Enliven International. While serving in that capacity, monthly sales went from under $500,000 to over $2,500,000 in 14 months. In November 2005, Dave served as the Honorary Chairman of the First Forum for Globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine held in Beijing and authorized by the Central Organizing Committee of the Chinese Government. Dave speaks Mandarin Chinese and has a degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
Reshma Block, Executive Vice President, Director of Operations
Reshma comes to BioNovix with a proven background in both Information Technology management and entrepreneurialism. She has 10 years of successful IT leadership experience with the Intel Corporation where her responsibilities included managing various global engineering teams and large IT suppliers, implementing and managing server solutions and data center technologies in a global 24×7 environment. In addition, she drove key architecture and engineering decisions for Intel’s next generation computing infrastructure for it’s world-wide data centers. Reshma received her MBA from Pepperdine University.
Mark Labertew, CPA, Vice President, Finance CFO
Mark Labertew brings to BioNovix a background of profitable leadership in dynamic domestic and international enterprises. Mark has lead profitable companies, spanning diverse industries, from start-up through growth into multi-million dollar businesses and has structured, negotiated and consummated, high dollar corporate transactions and financings. Most recently serving as COO of Suntech Manufacturing in Tempe, AZ, an international manufacturer with 9 worldwide locations, Mark held full P&L accountability for every aspect of operations- visions, strategic planning and directions, finance, business development, sales and marketing, technology and R&D. Previously, he grew an IT startup from $0 to $30+ million in annual revenues as President and CEO of Tracker International and delivered triple digit ROI to stakeholders. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Accounting from Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO.
Mark Kanas, Vice President, Marketing
Mark comes to BioNovix with over a decade in network marketing. He joins the company from Herbalife International, one of the leading wellness and nutritional supplement companies in the world with over $3 billion in annual sales. Mark progressed from Cost Accountant to IT Analyst to Project Manager to Director of Marketing. Mark drove the development and strategy of Herbalife’s Distributor tools including online business tools, recruiting kits, retailing tools, new methods of business, merchandising and supporting new product launches. Mark brings a wealth of both online and offline marketing experience to BioNovix. Mark has a Bachelors degree in business from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
